Instructions
-
Cut French Bread Loaf into one-inch slices. Cut at an angle to create elongated slices.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt together until combined.
-
Lightly place both sides of each slice of bread into the Egg/Milk mixture. You warm the mixture to absorb but not make the slice soggy. Place on a baking sheet or plate to settle.
-
Using a greased skillet or a griddle, place completed slices on the surface to cook.
-
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until a golden-brown texture with dark spots begin to show. Flip bread and repeat the process.
-
If you need to wait to serve, place completed French Toast slices on a baking pan and put in oven at 175-200 Degrees for warming.
-
Serve with Maple Syrup (or your preference)
-
Optional: Add toppings
Note: Serve with Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage, or Bacon.
