Dinner Rolls
Ingredients
2 ½-3 Cups Flour
¼ Cup Sugar
¾ tsp Salt
2 tsp Dry Yeast
½ Cup Milk
1/3 Cup Water
2 Tbl Butter or Margarine
1 Egg
Oil or Melted Butter for Brushing
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 Degrees.

Using a small saucepan or microwave, heat of the milk, water, and butter/margarine until the butter/margarine are melted.

In a large bowl, combine sugar, salt, yeast, and egg.

Add the milk mixture to the egg mixture. Mix until combined.

Add flour ½ cup at a time. Stir until the flour is completely mixed. Once dough can be handled, remove from the bowl.

On a floured surface, knead dough for about 5 minutes. Dough should become smooth and elastic.

Place dough in a clean bowl, cover and set aside for at least 20 minutes. 1 hour or overnight is fine too.

Once dough has risen. Punch dough down. Divide into rolls. Roll into balls. Make about 12.

On a greased or prepared baking sheet, place rolls on pan.

Brush with melted butter/margarine or olive oil. Let sit for an hour (the rolls can be baked immediately if desired).

Bake rolls for 20 minutes.
