Cinnamon Sweet Rolls
Ingredients

6 Apples
(Any type can be used for different flavors)
3 Tbl Sugar

2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Lemon Juice
¾ Cup Flour
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
½ Cup (1 Stick) Butter – Diced into Cubes
¼ tsp Salt

Instructions
-
Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees. Prepare an 8-inch Pie Plate or 8 x 8 Pan with non-stick spray or butter.
-
Peel, and Chop Apples into slices.
-
In a Mixing Bowl, combine the chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir until all apples are thoroughly coated with cinnamon and sugar.
-
In a separate mixing bowl, add flour, brown sugar, and oats. Mix together using a wooden spoon (or similar tool).
-
Add the cubed butter to the flour/sugar mixture. Using a pastry blender, cut the butter into the mixture until clumps begin to form and butter is immersed. Small pea-sized crumbles should be left. (Tip: Using hands with gloves may combine the butter into the flour mixture faster).
-
Add the Apple Mixture to the baking dish. Spread the apples out evenly.
-
Spread the flour/sugar mixture over top of the apples. Gently smooth it out evenly.
-
Bake in oven for 45-50 minutes. The Apple Crisp should be golden brown, and bubbly around the edges.
-
Optional: Serve with Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Cream!
